Childcare for Enterprise Families
From Town Square to Silverado Ranch, Martlet Academy is a manageable drive up the valley for many Enterprise families. Here is an honest look at the commute.
Childcare Enterprise Families Can Count On
Enterprise covers a large stretch of the south valley, from the shops and restaurants at Town Square to the neighborhoods around Silverado Ranch Park. Martlet Academy is at 6940 Edna Ave, so for many Enterprise addresses the drive is a manageable one, though not a quick walk around the corner.
Families who choose us from Enterprise often work along the Strip corridor, in Spring Valley, or on the west side, which makes drop-off fit naturally into the morning. The draw is one consistent campus, one director, and one teaching team across every classroom.
If your day stays close to home in the far south end, a nearer center may be simpler, and we would not argue with that. We just want you to have a realistic picture before you decide.
Our five classrooms, Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Kinder Prep, and After School, are each built around a specific developmental stage rather than one curriculum stretched across every age. A six-week-old and a five-year-old headed to kindergarten are in genuinely different spaces with teachers and activities built for that exact stage.
We're open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, hours built around real working schedules and longer commutes, not a short local drop-off.
Drive the route at your real drop-off time and tour in person. If both feel right, we would love to meet your family.

Why Enterprise Families Choose Martlet Academy
A few of the standards we hold ourselves to, and why they matter to your family.
One Consistent Standard
Every classroom follows the same Nevada-licensed standards and play-based philosophy, so the drive buys real consistency, not just a name on a building.
Nevada Licensed
We operate under a Nevada childcare license, meeting state standards for staff-to-child ratios, facility safety, and required staff training.
A Director Who Knows Your Family
As a small, independently owned program with smaller group sizes, our director and teaching team genuinely know families, including those who drive in from Enterprise.
Real-Time Updates From Anywhere
The Brightwheel app keeps you connected with daily updates, routines, and photos throughout the day, no matter how far away your workday takes you.
Hours Built for Commuters
We open at 6:30 AM and close at 6:00 PM on weekdays, with Saturday hours too, so a longer drive doesn't collide with a tight pickup window.
Room to Grow With Us
Families who enroll an infant often stay through After School, moving between classrooms as their child ages instead of switching centers.
One Campus, Five Classrooms
Every child is placed in the classroom built for their actual age and stage, not a one-size-fits-all room.

Learn more →The Drive from Enterprise
From most Enterprise addresses, the drive to 6940 Edna Ave typically runs around fifteen to twenty-five minutes outside of peak traffic, often via I-15 and Sahara Avenue or the surrounding local streets.
Weekday mornings can add time, particularly near the I-15 corridor, so test the route at the hour you would really be driving.
Many Enterprise families combine drop-off with a commute toward the Strip, Spring Valley, or the west side, so the trip rarely feels like a separate errand.
For a more specific estimate from your street, call our team. We will tell you plainly whether the commute is likely to suit your routine.

That depends on your priorities and routine. Some Enterprise families value one consistent, licensed campus over the closest option, while others find a nearer center fits better. We'd rather you weigh it honestly than feel oversold.
